Michelle Eddington built a strong foundation in bookkeeping early in life and went on to hold leadership roles with General Motors Corporation and DaimlerChrysler. After dedicating many years to raising her five children, she returned to the workforce with a focus on meaningful service, supporting a nonprofit through bookkeeping and tax work. Her continued success has been driven by her education through National Tax Training School, where she completed the Federal Income Tax Course and pursued the Advanced Tax Preparation Course. This training—particularly at the advanced level, focusing on corporations, nonprofits, and LLCs—significantly expanded her expertise and allowed her to better serve a growing and more complex client base. Today, her company, Phoenix Bookkeeping and Accounting LLC, is experiencing rapid growth and has been recognized by Google as one of the top bookkeeping firms in the Florida Panhandle.
Originally from Omsk, Russia, Tatiana Menshikova built her career through significant personal and professional challenges, including immigrating to the United States, adapting to a new country and language, and repeatedly rebuilding her professional life while relocating across several states. Despite working in a wide range of roles—including banking, postal service, and the gemological industry—she remained committed to returning to her original professional goal in accounting and taxation. Tatiana Menshikova is a distinguished alumna of the National Tax Training School, where she successfully completed both the Basic Taxation and Advanced Taxation courses, establishing a strong and comprehensive foundation in individual and business tax preparation. Following her formal education at our school, she separately and independently passed the three-part IRS Special Enrollment Examination, earning the prestigious Enrolled Agent (EA) designation. Building on the training received at the National Tax Training School, she went on to establish her own bookkeeping and tax preparation practice, providing professional services to individuals and small businesses. Her perseverance, professional growth, and accomplishments through our program make her a highly deserving recipient of the Famous Alumni Award.
Balancing the demands of parenthood with her aspirations, Kellin embarked on the tax course journey while finding time amidst her many responsibilities. Upon successfully completing the program, she secured a position as a tax preparer at a local office. Citing her diligence and competence, her employer eventually extended an offer for her to take ownership of the establishment. Kellin now stands as the proud owner of a tax preparation office in her hometown.
Nan Hardesty completed the tax course in 1983 and, singing its praises, encouraged Richard to complete his in 1989. Together they founded Rising Wolf Tax Preparation reaching over 200 clients in Northwestern Montana. Nan passed away in 2022 after 32 years in the tax preparation field. Richard retired in 2024.
